Scripps Health Plan requires your primary care provider (PCP) or a designee to be available so that assigned members have access to urgent and emergency care 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Additionally, providers will maintain 24/7 telephone access capability in order to provide a response within 30 minutes to emergency inquiries from their members.
